A championship to sensitise the community on children’s rights

The soccer team made of children involved in the CCBO project won the championship's cup. The aim of the event was to draw attention to issues such as child abuse. 6 other NGOs working in the area participated to this event.

The event was sponsored by M'Lop Tapang and was organised in collaboration with other NGOs namely CCBO, Don Bosco, Aspeca, Kambor elementary school, Hun Sen Mithapheap high school, LICADHO, CCS and CSP.
 
The initiative which first took place in Sihanoukville was held in the target areas of M'Lop Tapang. More than 100 children between 12 and 16 years of age made teams for the 6th and 7th of April to raise awareness on the Rights of the Child in the region.
 
These two days of competition were organised in order to raise awareness on issues related to the protection of children in Sihanoukville such as the exposure to drug use and violence against children.
